Holiday Stuffing- A Gluten Free Crowd Pleaser!

This easy to make stuffing recipe is easy to make, kid-tested, and perfected with Against the Grain gluten-free bread.

This is one of those rare recipes that actually tastes better with gluten free bread (but you have to use Against the Grain baguettes- I think its the cheese- not a sponsored post, just tried and tested). Perfected over the years, this family favorite is perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or really just anytime you’re looking for a savory, flavorful, side dish!

The Best Stuffing (that just happens to be gluten free!)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Against the Grain Baguettes roughly chopped
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup shaved almonds
  • 2 tbsp minced sage
  • 1 tbsp salt (or less, we usually do 1/2 tbps)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 small carrot chopped
  • 1 celery stock chopped
  • 1/2 yellow onion chopped
  • 1/2 green apple chopped (we sometimes do a whole apple)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425
  • Chop the veggies, mince the garlic, beat the eggs
  • Combine all ingredients into baking dish and let sit for 15-20 minutes
  • Bake until done – we usually do an hour or so.
