GF URSELF is my homage to gluten free living and coastal living. With newer posts and a sprinkling of posts from my hacked blog The Adventures of an Urban Socialite (last post, 2017), I hope to share brands, recipes, and social accounts that I love. With some assistance from the wonderful people at the Wayback Machine Downloader I was able to reconstitute many of my old posts, which I an slowly culling and posting in the archives.

Urban Socialite came about when I was a bit younger, bouncing around between Boston, NYC, the Cape and Fisher’s Island ( FI NY, not FI MIA). The blog, which was actually pretty well read, was a celebration of city living and emerging, independent, design.

I currently split my time between South Florida and the Cape. That said, the Cape is home. The vibe there is unlike anywhere else and my goal is to celebrate it here.

About me: I was born in Cambridge and raised on Cape Cod. Among other educational endeavors, I studied Fashion Design at RISD and Parsons. This website and accompanying Instagram / Pinterest are where I store my notes, thoughts, and inspiration. The site is kind of like my notebook and Instagram / Pinterest are kind of like my mood-board .

What you will find: beautiful things, recipes, inspiring designers, and lessons learned from years I spent on the Cape, in the fashion industry, and living gluten free.

What you will not find: selfies (it’s not about me, its about you- and for other reasons that will bore you, I just can’t share personal details about myself), ubiquitous advertising, or gratuitous influencers.

To that end, I partner with Collective Voice. To the extent something I post about is on Collective Voice, I will let you know (everything in the “Love” section of the blog is a highly edited collective voice partner).
